Islam2Go users suggest the places they know, and every suggestion is reviewed. Contributors earn points and a place on the leaderboard.
Add a place
Tap Add New on the restaurants list, the prayer spots list or the map, then fill in what you know.
A halal restaurant
- A photo
- Its name and location, picked on the map
- Phone and website, if you have them
- Food types and meat origin
- Alcohol, halal level and prayer room
A mosque or prayer room
- Its name
- Its location, picked on the map
- Whether it's a mosque or a prayer room
Reviewed before it appears
New places are checked before they go live. Follow your suggestions in My Posts, where each one is marked with its status.

Before you add a place
- Add places you know are real and open.
- Give accurate details, especially the halal level and meat origin.
- Look on the map first so the same place isn't added twice.
Ways to earn points
Add places
Earn points for the restaurants and prayer spots you contribute.
Check in with QR codes
Scan an Islam2Go QR code at a participating mosque or restaurant to earn 10 points. You can check in once an hour for each type of place.
Awards from the team
The Islam2Go team can award points for helpful contributions.
Climb the leaderboard
Everyone is ranked by total points. The top three stand on the podium, and you can search for anyone by name.
See where your points came from
Open your profile and tap your points to see every point you've earned: places you added, QR check-ins and awards from the team.

How do I earn points?
By adding places, by scanning Islam2Go QR codes at participating mosques and restaurants, and through awards from the team.
How often can I check in with a QR code?
Once an hour for mosques and once an hour for restaurants. Each check-in earns 10 points.
Why hasn't my place appeared yet?
Every suggestion is reviewed first. You can follow its status in My Posts.
